Frequently Asked Questions

We offer 200+ products in our online store, from croissants to dumplings, and they’re all from local businesses. To explore by product categories or brands, you can use the product filters on the right side of the page. All our high quality products are handcrafted by our commissary members, who make their small batch products with love. Meet some of our members through our Instagram, or on our Members page

If you are yet to add items to your cart, we recommend signing up as a member as if at any point you have to reload the page, your cart does not disappear! Also, you will need to create an account to be elegible for free delivery.

So then we ask you, why not?

IT'S SUPER EASY and FAST!

On the top right corner, click on the “Account” icon that’s to the left of the “Shopping cart” icon. Create an account by filling in an email and password. There, you’ll also be able to share specific delivery instructions and preferences with us - such as your buzzer number, or a phone number so we can text you when we’re on our way with your order.  Hit “Create” and you’re good to go.

This option will load a screen prompting you to fill in your preferred email and password. You can also add some delivery instructions such as buzzer number. Click 'Create' and you are GOOD TO GO!

We won’t fill your spam folder with promotions, we will only share valuable information that we know you will be interested in. Recipes, new products, member stories, and much more! You will be part of a loving community that supports local businesses. What’s there not to love?

Click on the “Add to Cart” button by hovering over the product image, or in the product page. Clicking on the “Add to Cart” button gives you a cart preview, where you’ll be able to adjust item quantities as well as view your subtotal.

When you’re ready to check out, review your order list and decide whether you’d like your order to be delivered or picked up from our cafe. If everything looks good, click on “Checkout.” 

QUICK VIEW:

As you hover over the product images you will notice a Quick View button pop up under the photo. The Quick View tab opens up a summary of the product with the following information:

You can increase quantities of products two ways:

1. Hover over the product image and hit the “+” button, or type in the number you’d like. 

2. Open the product page, find the quantity tab, hit the “+” button or type in the number you’d like. 

You can place an order whenever you like, but in order for us to get your order ready as quickly as possible, the “deadlines” for orders are on Sunday at 5pm for Tuesday pick up and deliveries, and Wednesday at 5pm for Friday.

We try to be as flexible as we can, but as many of the items on Coho Market are made to order, we may not be able to allow change requests. But we’d like to help if we can, so reach out to us at market@cohocommissary.com, and we’ll do our best. Note that change requests will have to be sent in before the cut off times of Sunday and Wednesday at 5pm.

There is no minimum order size, and you could order just one cookie if you’d like.

Yes! But do keep in mind that order cancellations need to be made by 5pm on Sunday or Wednesday. We unfortunately won’t be able to accommodate any requests that come in after that cut off time. 

This is because all our products are sourced locally from our commissary chefs, and placing an order usually means that our chefs have already begun production. So the earlier you make a cancellation request, the more flexible it’ll be. Email market@cohocommissary.com with any cancellation requests and we’ll do our best to help.  

We deliver around Metro Vancouver (Vancouver, North Van, West Van, Burnaby), on Tuesdays and Fridays. We also deliver to Richmond, Surrey, New Westminster and Tri-cities on Fridays.

If you want to order from outside Metro Vancouver, please contact market@cohocommissary.com and we will try our best to accommodate your needs.

We deliver to you between 10am - 5pm on Tuesdays and Fridays, depending on your location. If you live in an apartment or condo, please remember to include your buzzer number and cell phone number on the checkout page, so we can send you a text when we’re on our way.

All deliveries are contactless and left at your door or doorstep to minimize interaction. If some of the items you’ve ordered are fresh, or need to be frozen or refrigerated, make sure you’re able to transfer them soon after they arrive.

We hope all our customers love the products that they’ve ordered. However, to prioritize health and safety, we won’t be accepting returns at this time. All sales are final, unless there are any problems related to product quality when you receive your order. Get in touch with our friendly team at market@cohocommissary.com if there are any product quality issues.

We care deeply about our customers, and feedback is very welcome as it helps us improve. So if at any point, you are dissatisfied with your order or experience with Coho Market, reach out to market@cohocommissary.com and tell us straight away. We’ll do our best to help you out, and would love to hear from you. 

The delivery schedule is fixed, but we understand that life happens and take on special delivery requests on a case by case basis. Reach out to us at market@cohocommissary.com for any delivery change requests.

If you know you will not be at home to receive your order, please email us at market@cohocommissary.com to reschedule the delivery.

If you're not home at the time of the delivery, we'll make every effort to contact you and may leave your order on your doorstep if conditions are favourable.

Your payment is processed as soon as you click “Checkout.” All prices are shown in Canadian dollars (CAD) and you’ll be charged as such.

To make sure that our customer orders are complete, we triple check every order before it goes out. However, mistakes do happen - so if you’re missing any items from your order, please email us at market@cohocommissary.com and we’ll sort it out for you immediately.

If a product is temporarily out of stock, we will let you know straight away and give you the preference of rescheduling the entire order or receiving the in-stock items as scheduled.

It’s easy to buy a Coho Market gift card. Once on the gift card page, select a value from anywhere between $25 to $200, add it to your cart and check out.  

Yes, you can! If you want to add a custom amount onto your gift card, reach out to us at market@cohocommissary.com and we’ll sort it out for you.

After you purchase your gift card, simply forward it in an email to friends and family. 

Every gift card comes with a unique 16-character gift card code. Simply plug it into the “discount code” box on the checkout page, and we’ll apply the discount for you. 

Great news! Your Coho gift card never expires.
